- No fabric softener – it reduces the breathability of the jersey
- Separate colors on the first wash – especially for dark shades
- Dryer: use a low or medium setting – jersey shrinks at too high a heat
- Ironing not necessary – jersey smooths itself out while drying
A good rule of thumb: 3 sets per crib – one on the mattress, one in the laundry, one as a spare. Kids fitted sheets should be changed every 1–2 weeks – more often for babies or during illness.
